Passionate about giving back, Gerna has led nonprofit efforts supporting Native Hawaiian families, veterans, and cultural preservation. He founded organizations to assist Hawaiian communities in Washington and Hawaii, advocating for economic empowerment and education. A lifelong member of veterans’ and civic organizations, he remains dedicated to uplifting his people.
